The registration process for individuals in the statutory services has commenced. A registered practitioner's license will be issued to all members on the PHECC Register. A newsletter updating progress will be issued in March.
PHECC has begun a realignment project to examine the 2005 Guidelines from the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR). The ILCOR recommendations will be considered by the Medical Advisory Group of Council and the required changes to Clinical Practice Guidelines, Education and Training Standards and assessment will be implemented thereafter.
Council will conduct a workshop in May in order to develop the second Strategic Plan for 2006-2010. The Strategic Plan will give clear direction and focus for Council, Committees and administrative support for the years ahead.
