Tender Notice: Research and Design of Paramedic Competency Standard

PHECC is seeking suitably qualified authors to research and design paramedic competency standard for the current and future professional roles of paramedics in Ireland.

The overarching aim of the paramedic competency standard is to ensure that paramedics can deliver optimum standards of care for patients and service users now and into the future. It will supplement the current Education and Training Standards and Clinical Practice Guidelines.

The competency standard will be used to inform and underpin professionalisation of paramedic practice to support the profession and to maintain the trust of the public in the profession.
